The end of April and the beginning of May is a time of floriferous brilliance in our area. The primary participants are azaleas, dogwoods, and redbuds. The azaleas come in all sizes shapes and color. Just about every yard has some azaleas. The azaleas in our backyard were particularly nice this year. The plants are not only spectacular in mass but also have subtle and intricate colors and shapes when viewed close up.
